I live in New York, in the beautiful Hudson Valley to be exact. You should come visit, we have lots of breweries and hiking to keep your hipster heart full. I build and sell things, mostly in the technology space to companies you’ve very definitely heard of.. especially if you know the phrase “Enterprise Cloud Computing”. I, personally, think I have too many gadgets in my home office but I would also say I don’t have enough. I’m always looking for the next shiney thing to play with. I’m trying to automate everything in my life to free up my time from the mundane. You should, too.
I was born at the tip of Africa. Later, I moved to Australia, then the U.K. (pre-Brexit madness) and then I found myself in the USA. Frequent flier miles were gathered.
Background
When I was 11 years old, my grandmother gave me a computer. Mavis, who really was the only “grandmother” influence I ever had growing up said: “Tyrone… can you help me figure out how to use this calculator?” And so, an obsession and borderline addiction was born. I taught myself everything I know. Fast forward decades later, I live in New York, the left coast hub of technology and innovation.
I once told my mother that I’d work for Microsoft. And then I did. I still do, at least as of this writing. I also build things when I have free time - Mostly home tech projects for fun. Home automation and the like. I’m also working on my own side company. I already have a name and domain for it - So you know it’s real. I’ll link it here once I launch.
Things I like: Podcasts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, brewing beer, learning about new technology, real estate investing (basically all the podcasts I listen to), reading and the odd intellectual discussion around politics. My Twitter feed is a mess usually.
Oh and…I’m really and I do mean really allergic to cats. And cigarette smoke.
Experience
My LinkedIn Profile basically will tell you everything you need to know. But in case you haven’t looked there yet, here’s some highlights:
Microsoft: March, 2003 - Current.
I’ve worked in the Enterprise selling space since 2006, covering various industries, customer sizes and across the United States and United Kingdom
Multiple time Gold Club Award Winner. This is Microsoft’s highest honor for revenue attainment and commitment achievement.

I’ve done some cool things and I’m working on many more.
